Two huge images will be at the Southbank Centre for the next two weeks as part of Rio Occupation London. Two visions of cities thousands of miles apart, so different, but linked in so many ways. Andrea Capella’s vast panoramas of Rio and London offer an insight into the life of each city and the feel of these Olympic cities' landscape. Taken between Sunrise and nightfall, with one photo taken every hour forming an unique picture, this project captures the soul of a city through its image, between people, space and light.

The images will be displayed on the side of the Southbank Centre.

Duas fotografias enormes estarão expostas no Southbank Centre nas próximas duas semanas como parte do Rio Occupation London. Duas visões de cidades a milhares de quilômetros de distância, muito diferentes, mas conectadas de diversas maneiras. As grandes images panorâmicas de Andrea Capella oferecem um olhar por dentro das duas cidades olímpicas e de suas paisagens. As fotografias foram feitas entre o nascer e o pôr do sol, com uma foto tirada a cada hora formando uma imagem única. O projeto captura a alma da cidade através de suas imagens, entre suas pessoas, espaços e luzes.
